Tough StarBeam Distributor – 58 mm

A 58 mm self-leveling espresso distributor used to even out the coffee bed inside the portafilter basket before tamping, producing a flat, consistent surface.

Ball Bearing Limiter
The distributor includes a removable limiter that changes how the tool rotates:

• With the limiter installed: the top and base rotate as one piece, giving a heavier, more controlled turn.
• With the limiter removed: the top spins freely on the bearings for a smoother, lighter rotation.

  How to Use

  1. Set the height to match your dose and basket.
  2. Install or remove the ball bearing limiter depending on the feel you prefer.
  3. Place the distributor on top of the coffee bed until it seats fully.
  4. Rotate a few turns to level the surface, then lift and tamp.
